BETH WOOD AND TOM FAULKNER

Beth Wood is a modern-day troubadour and believer in the power of song. Her exceptional musicianship, crafty songwriting, and commanding stage presence have been winning over American audiences for twenty years. Beth’s music is soulful, organic, intelligent, barefoot, high-energy, communication of joy. Picture a home-body with an ever-present wanderlust, an introvert with a passion for performing, a creative free-spirit with enough discipline to rework her dream year after year, calloused little hands and a big pile of curly hair … and you’ve got Beth Wood. Torn Faulkner knew by age 5 that music would be the fascination of his life. His unique blend of Texas rock, blues, Cajun and Tejano music is a heartfelt abandonment of musical trends and a passionate embrace of the rich ethnic heritage of his upbringing. Tom’s reputation as an accomplished composer caught the attention of advertising executives coast-to-coast. Consequently, while en route to a successful singer/songwriter career, Tom created hundreds of memorable national commercial pieces of music for television and radio. “Hopefully each song I create will paint a picture for someone, somewhere … and they can go back to it again and again.” Beth & Tom together = MAGIC!

LINDSAY WHITE

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll call your therapist. Lindsay White is an award-winning songwriter based in San Diego, CA. With influences ranging from Dylan to Difranco, her songwriting has earned recognition from Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Kerrville Folk Festival, Guitar World, and American Songwriter Magazine. Her latest solo album Lights Out is a lyric-driven analysis on love and loss that will move you to tears and tear you to shreds. “I didn’t initially set out to create an album focused almost entirely on grief, but the recording timeline paralleled my mom’s illness and death, so it naturally morphed into a labor of love and loss,” says White. “By the time we were nearly finished recording, I thought to myself, ‘These songs are too personal; there’s no way people will relate to them.’ I’m discovering, though, that we can all connect to each other by sharing our own stories of grief. People say love is a great unifier, but I think grief should get that title. I hope Lights Out helps listeners acknowledge their own experiences with loss. Think of it as a 10-song shoulder to cry on!”

TRAVIS BUSTER

Travis Buster is a poet like a Leonard Cohen, with a smooth, easy voice and romantic charm of a Tony Bennett, vivid, memorable songwriting craft of a Bob Dylan, sprinkle in some Guy Clark and layer all that on piano chops in a league of their own.  He is an original. Travis has been writing and playing piano for a lifetime. The songs meet you where you are. By eight years old, Travis could play ragtime boogies, Beethoven’s Sonatas and his own creations. “I first played boogies, Bob Wills & Floyd Cramer like my Grandma. I practiced for years to play Bach and other classical pieces. I listened to the likes of Milt Buckner and Liz Story and learned to make those beautiful jazz and new age sounds. I played Towns Van Zandt and Guy Clark. Now when something in life happens, good or bad, these are in my mind as I play and try to reflect the beauty and pain that’s there.” Travis was pursued by the finest music schools but became a tech entrepreneur while still playing piano and writing what he was experiencing. Expect powerful, beautiful ballads sung in a hautingly, calm manner and skillfully played on guitar and piano.

Her story-telling and banter envelopes and enchants, gently enticing her listener to release their grip on the status quo.
